Architecture needs to be about solving problems related to the use of a building and incorporate the life style of the owners. It shouldn’t lose itself in the aesthetics of a design but stay true to the brief and provide practical and creative solutions on every possible level.
At the very least, nobody should have to duck their head when climbing the stairs and the drainage levels should work; those things are a given. Next, the proposal should map your daily routines to make sure your personality and lifestyle resonate in the very fabric of the design.
To achieve this our initial meeting is far more about listening to your needs than about impressing you with our sales pitch.
We will start with conceptual sketches and talk with you to ensure the design meets your needs. If you have trouble imagining the finished project, you may choose for 3D models to make sure all is as you envisaged. For the next stage we translate the concept into detailed drawings and obtain planning and building control permissions.
We then produce tender documents, assist with contractor appointment, contract administration and construction management. This is where we usually save you time and money by using our extensive organisational skills and experience in the building trade.
