Vivo Taste is a London restaurant that was designed by Chris Martel. Chris has been involved with the project from inception and is responsible for the interior design throughout. One of the most recognisable features of the project would be the 14 metre long counter used to display the freshly bread, pizzas and a wide variety of foods. “The granite counter was an engineering project in itself. It provides storage, with hot and cold plates, and crucially it gives Vivo presence on the street by breaking through the glass facade and onto the pavement outside” – Chris Martel.
We were also involved in some project management for the project with the team relishing the opportunity to manage a large scale project in London. “The issue is having presence on site, so we did spend longer out of the office – but once you’re on site it’s just like any other job” – Gary Naftel.
